Holiday Hustle – Day 17

Morning friends,

Welcome to the third – and FINAL (I know *sniff* I’m going to miss it too!) - full week of the Holiday Hustle! I hope your weekend went well – and don’t worry if you weren’t able to do any workouts (but HIGH-FIVE if you managed to sneak some in!).

Let’s start this week with a BANG!

Holiday Hustle – Day 17


Option 1: HIIT Cardio



Side-Burning Cardio HIIT

Do the following exercises one after the other – 30 secs on, 10 secs rest – for a total of 20-25 rounds.

1. Star Jumps (stand up with your feet together and your hands down near your ankles, and jump up into a star formation)

2. Right Side Plank Follow-Through (in a side plank position with your right arm down, raise your left arm up to the ceiling and keep your gaze on your hand as you bring it down and through the space between your leg and floor)

3. Left Side Plank Follow-Through

4. Burpee and Tuck-Jump

5. Forearm Plank Hip Dips (in a forearm plank position, bring your right hip down to the ground and then your left hip down to the other side – continue to alternate)



Option 2: Run

Do 30 minutes steady-state on a treadmill, or bring it outdoors – run away from your house for 15 mins and try to make it back in less time!

·       Remember: Treat yourself with kindness – if you miss a workout one day (or two, or three), don’t beat yourself up! Just try to wake up 20 mins earlier the next day and smash out a quick HIIT workout AND try to make your next meal a little bit cleaner (and leaner and greener!)
